Governance's leadership team enabled Louisiana to win over $1 billion in investment originally destined for off-shore. The investment was the Global 100 manufacturer's first significant investment in new products in the U.S. in over a decade - preserving hundreds of jobs as well as creating a significant number of new jobs. The annual wage of each job preserved and created exceeded $100,000 plus benefits.
NEW YORK YES
Governance's leadership team has preserved thousands of high-paying manufacturing jobs in New York State over the past twenty-five years by intervening and advocating for companies to remain in New York rather than relocate. In accomplishing this task while NYS was losing more than half of its manufacturing jobs (none lost when our leadership team was involved), it was vital for our team to find sources of funding previously untapped and unknown to NYS officials.
GENERATIONAL POVERTY NO
A region in a state was suffering from generational poverty despite the wealth it was creating for the state. Governance's leadership team developed a strategy that recognized that a legislative fix was impossible - a strategy in place today that is enabling the region to generate the funds necessary to diversify the economy and create high-wage jobs that will end generational poverty.
WASTE NOT WANT NOT
A state was perplexed that it was unable to compete with neighboring states for jobs and investment. Governance's leadership team identified hundreds of millions of dollars available to the state that it could use to attract or retain business - and assisted the state at capturing and/or redirecting funds (to eliminate non-productive wasteful use) that resulted in a renaissance for the state in job attraction and growth.
